A Parisian interpretation of the British trench coat.
Inspired by rue de Buci and its daily rhythm, the BUCI trench combines the codes of the traditional trench coat with a more streamlined construction, designed for the city and changing seasons.
It is made from waxed cotton by British Millerain, a British textile house founded in 1880. Composed of two lightweight cotton twills assembled together, this 100% cotton fabric weighing 330 g/m² offers a material that is structured, breathable, and highly water-resistant, historically designed for trench coats and mackintoshes.
Inside, bound-edge finishes emphasize the clean construction. The wide collar structures the silhouette, horn buttons add a natural material, while the cuffs can be adjusted with their adjustable straps. An interior zipped pocket keeps essentials close at hand.
The BUCI trench is part of La Pièce’s button-on wardrobe: a hood or bib can be added when the weather or use calls for it. The trench thus remains the key outerwear piece, to which only the necessary protections are added

The trench coat is made from 420 g/m² English waxed cotton with a herringbone pattern. Inheriting expertise developed to withstand the elements, this fabric stands out for its density, durability, and ability to develop a patina over time. A heritage material that gains character with use.

An insulating bib, hood, or protective modules can be added or removed depending on the season, weather, or use.
