  • Walking: An 11% reduction in mortality risk is associated with a weekly energy expenditure of 11.25 MET.hours, which corresponds to about 150 minutes of brisk walking per week.

  • Cycling: A similar 10% reduction was observed for the same energy expenditure via biking.
